Blame away, I've tried multiple tunes from Calum's to Brians (what lynch is running now), same results, not impressive MPG's. Installing VET cams did lower my MPG's a bit, I had to bump up the timing a good bit more on low cams, then I got back what I lost. This also made me see that smaller lobes don't mean better mpg's.
Granted P11's are fat, so city MPG's would be much worse. Highway MPG's are not affected by weight nearly as much, infact car weight can help since it's more wind resistant.
Best I've gotten on VE-T p11 is 35mpg highway, that was with a thin stock radiator, as soon as thicker rad went in MPG's dropped back down to upper 20's. So VE does like a warmer engine for it to get better MPG's.
