To be honest I thought it was a little much before I bought it but I'm REALLY glad I got mine, makes me feel better about driving in the rain, I still coast through puddles because I'm really paranoid but with the drycharger I highly doubt anything will get through the filter

Thanks, I haven't went for a drive yet because of the rtv on the intake pipe and maf adapter, but I let it idle for a few moments and it was right at 14.7 like normal.

Ya, I'd just like to have one for peace of mind for those surprise rain days, but I also think the stock plastic shrouding shit or whatever its called will help.

Took BlueRB240's advice (planned on it anyway) but I did it to a n62 instead of the n60. I didn't wanna have to do it twice so I figured I would test the waters with the blow through on the n60 first, well since it needed retuning I slapped the n62 in so I don't have to re-tune twice lol

Now I owe Benito for the maf for sure lol

lol i believe the maf idea was my idea.

Id say remove the screen as well, its only a hinderance and wont affect the way it runs.

Oh I also want to mention the turbo is much louder now that it doesn't have a long restrictive intake pipe. The bov sounds like it did before, only louder an more easily heard at lower rpms where you couldn't even tell I was turbo before lol.

I kinda like hearing it more, but also it kinda defeats the sleeper mode will report back when I get it more dialed in.

Welllllllll bluerb240 mentioned takin the maf adapter off or something, then later I asked you how you did it :P

so yes, ashton deserves some credit too!

I'm going to leave the screens on for now, but will prolly take them off the next time I work on the car, which I'm sure will be sooner then later

My friend and I used a grinder to carefully grind the flange off, then sand paper to clean it up an test fitting.

Yep, and it works soooo much better than a stupid maf adapter. Hell I think ive sold 2 n62 mafs on this forum that I did that modification to back when i had my t25 setup

If it wont affect the way it runs, why not just keep it on there?

because youd hate to see it come apart under boost and get blown into the motor. Its only a restriction so you will only benifit by removing it.
