I'm well aware of Josh's virtual dyno, however he has a pair of my DRs or over a year and I want to see them put to good use...
I guess the virtual dyno rubber has to meet the road eventually...
Oh I agree, but I think he is in the same boat as I am, doesn't want to spend the money on real dyno + availability. I live in the middle of nowhere so getting dyno time requires traveling. This is why virtual dyno has been working well for me.
On my B14 with a DET + BB T25 9psi, Thermobloks, UR pulleys, flow stack, Side gapped plugs I made 230whp. On that same DET, journaled T25, 8psi, thermobloks, stock pulleys, flow stack, regular plugs I made 200whp on virtual dyno.
Side gapping should give me up to 207whp, another psi up to should get me to 215 or so, then i'm still 15whp down, 5whp to pulleys and virtual dyno is reading around 10whp low. But car weight has everything to do with how accurate your numbers will be. We are using edmunds numbers, if the car is heavier then projected then you will show less whp then your really making. I plan on hitting the scales before I hit the dyno
