If you are currently waiting on a Precision 6265 or 6765 and being held up by a backorder, according to precision you could be in for another 3 weeks of waiting.

But dont throw your keyboard just yet. Precision announced the release of their new 66mm turbine wheels, with a new and improved design. Precision boasts a 30hp increase in power without affecting spool, thanks to the efficiency of their new turbine wheel design.

This is a CEA turbine wheel, is made by precision for precision only.

Also, more importantly, they are in stock and ready to ship, and they have all the same turbine housing options that the 65 has:
T3 in / V-band out - .63/.82
T3 in / 4-bolt out - .63/.82
T3 in / 5-bolt out - .63 with and without wg hole
T4 Tan in / V-band out - .58/.68/.81/.96
Vband in / Vband out - .82

This means now you can get a 6266 or 6766, make more power than its 65 counterparts, spool the same (or maybe faster according to precision), without waiting, and without spending any extra money. From here that looks like a win-win-win-win situation.

Feel free to message me with any questions, or orders.

NOTE*UPDATE*:
I apologize but we were misinformed, and consequently misinformed the public. Precision has been using the term CEA to refer to their billet compressor wheels for a good time now. Boasting how the new manufacturing process provides thinner blades, less material usage, more air flow, etc. So this is what we went off of when we got word from Precision that the CEA 66mm wheel was finally available. However, Precision was able to make the thinner blades, and increase air flow and efficiency, without having to go to as expensive of a process as billet machining, and without sacrificing strength. So these 66mm turbine wheels will be cast, using a new design made by precision for precision, not billet machined. It is advertised as the benefits of a billet machined exhaust wheel without the considerable increase in cost that billet machining an exhaust wheel would incur.

Emery Kapral No. Both turbos were brought to where they made the most power. The 6766 made more power with more boost while the 6765 stopped. 2 PSI More

That is a huge difference in power. Good stuff. when are they gonna have wheels like this in the gamma titanium, with extended tips, with a GTX compressor wheel and the garrett DBB cartridge. They can call it the GTXR3076Rxt lol

looks really good, i might get one of these instead of the 6765. Its about time someone started working on the turbine wheel as the design of them has been the same now since basicly the beginning. So good job Precision.

That's something to look forward to when it's time to rebuild my turbo. That V-band back housing looks identical to the one I have but my wheel is the regular style. I can't imagine this turbo performing better than it already has. Makes me want to rebuild just for the hell of it.
