Turbo Tank is the one who built the MAF Box's they should not touch the lid. It was listed in the document that I wrote and also failed to read lol. I burned a traced but was able to fix with some solder and a wire.

Thanks for clarifying. I'll make sure to take the lid off and bend those tabs down because I didn't bend them down enough to keep from touching the lid when I sealed it up.

edit: so the copper in the plastic stock unit was to block RF and keep the MAF from giving a bad signal?

Correct, it is not needed now because the aluminum is plenty thick to block any RF.

Also can confirm soldering in wire repairs the MAF
