Search the miata forum, on the gsp gt2871. They made like 280hp at 18psi.

I have heard of a lot of people having luck with these. for about $60 you can get one shipped as a sample from china, just have to be a smooth talker and have a fedex account already setup. If they think you will buy a lot they will send you one for inspection and make sure the one they send you is top spec so you will think they will all be like that lol

lol i shoulda tried that. so im looking at the specs of the turbo i just bought its a gt3076r which is crap cause it not a ball bearing its this wet float bearing any who this actually kinda seems like a big ass t28. The flange it t2 so it bolts to my avenir mani and its a five bolt similar to the det so with a little mod i should be able to make this bold on. I was told that i should use restrictors on this turbo so just wonder if anyone knows where i can buy 1 at and also im going to need a coupling that is 4in on 1 side and 2.5 on the other side do they make something like that??

Wet float? Sure you don't mean journal bearing? And if the ad above states GT3076R T28, the only way you'll know for sure is to measure. There's no such thing as a GT3076R T28. T2 flanged, yes. T28 and T2 flange are not the same thing.

Go to atpturbo.com for your lines, restrictors, and your couplers.

Thanks for the help i know in the description it states it suppose to bolt up to the sr20 mani and you can use the sr20 elbow with lite mod so i guess we'll find out when it comes if worst comes to worst it does have a vband adaptor so building a new elbow wont be so bad im just hoping it holds out until i can buy a good precision or turbonectics turbo. Im also going to have a gtir mani modded to run a t3 flange and external wastegate

I think you mean gt2876r hich is a bastard as turbo with those mismatched wheels. That is why not many people run them, mainly small displacement motors with stupid high rpms. Also that AR compressor housing is going to be a pita along with the wastegate.

If possible I'd try to get the more common 2871r, much quicker response for just smidget less power.

So the turbo came yesterday looks decent for an ebay turbo the back housing doesn't line up with the sr20 elbow so were going to have to modd it a bit, i try and get some pics of it when it as on the car and also let you know how it runs,

I believe the holes on o2 housing need to be slotted and should slide right in. Good luck.
