DET Flooding out?
I'm having a hell of a time with this car. Got my new ECU in and tried to start my car and all the cylinders keep getting flooded out regardless of the fuel pressure, tried it at 4bar, 3bar and even took it down to 20psi and it still flooded all cylinders. The car will run with my old calum ecu that is tuned for 370cc injectors, rough but it will run. My JWT ECU is tuned for sti injectors at 4bar. I know I am getting pulse to each injectors and they fire all four then 3-4-2-1. The car will run when I pull the fuel pump fuse until it runs out of gas. I get spark to all cylinders. What is going on with this motor?

What are you doing to check the pulses? Also when you turn the key to ACC (fuel pump on without starting), do they leak? If they do it's your Orings.

Basic stuff but:
Getting spark properly? Also if it keeps getting flooded are you letting the fuel dry out? Tried starting it with the pedal to the floor? Another method is mashing the pedal and letting it go.

Sensors? Do you have the proper temp sensors?

Everything has been checked and re-checked.

-Orings dont leak
-Correct OBD2 temp sensors
-I get spark
-I get fuel
-Injectors are good
-Injector wiring is good

The car WILL start when the fuel pump fuse is pulled until the fuel lines run out of gas.

What would Loren say in this situation? 3 Things...Compression, Fuel and Spark. Is your spark okay? Have you replaced the plugs since the last time? If they're badly fouled, that can be your issue. Not that you're getting "too much" fuel, but you're not getting a strong enough spark.

What it seems like is your injectors not holding pressure. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

What you see in your video is not normal, unless someone is sitting there and cranking the engine. Unplug the injector plugs, and then prime the fuel rail and see if they are holding pressure. If they are not then your injectors are mechanically faulty. If they hold it then you have a short in your injector harness that is causing them to fire with the car off.

OH, and make sure you oil isn't getting drowned by raw fuel.

Ive been rotating between 5 sets of plugs, I know my spark is good. Why would it run once I pull the fuel pump fuse if the spark was weak?

I had the dizzy out and was turning it by hand with the car 'ON", fuel pressure really dosnt matter it will flood all the cylinders regardless of the pressure.
