installed ls1 coil packs onto my rwd sr20 today. surprisingly easy if you have the right wiring diagrams. took me about 2 days of internet searches to get the correct schematics. soldered and heat shrunk all connections and it started on first try. took it for a test drive and my previous spark blow out is gone. super smooth too. cant wait to start messing with it tomorrow.

The LS2 truck coils have better output than the LS1 coils and are smart coils.

what psi? that setup doesnt sound like you should have spark blow out problems.

the stock COPs were s13/14?

before the rebuild, it didnt do it. something changed after the rebuild and i dont know what. all new gaskets, new couplings - everything. just made no sense. it runs like a champ now. 20ish lbs of boost. only when driven aggressively would it do it. and only in the 1st 3 gears. after that it smoothed out. now it doesnt do it at all. the stock cops were s13.
