im running a jwt ecu which is nothing special, really. you just wire the wires back together for the ignitor and make a subharness from the coil pack harness to wire in the coils.

I didn't do it with CDI (although I should have). Ashton did it with CDI.

So we both had motorcycle coils, but Ashton did it properly with a CDI box as well. Other folks around here have done CDI + Motorcycle coils. I can't think of them off the top of my head though.

(Let me see if I can re-host those images in my thread real quick.)

guys, im not curious about COP systems, Im asking about CDI Boxes.

has anyone tried motorcycle CDI boxes on their motor vehicles?

Not that I know of. But it sounds like a good idea. (Unless that stuff is built into the motorcycle ECU or something.)

Aren't the motorcycle setups getting the high voltage off the crank of the engine and not creating it in the box? If so that doesn't sound very useful to us..but I may be confused on how the system works on a bike.
