I did not check the harness, I wasn't instructed to do so, lol! :-D I guess I'll do that next. We are talking about the harness to the ecu correct? I'll have to find a pinout guide to reference.

Yea, I think my alt is on its way out. The battery was new in march, occasionally when I start her up the battery light comes on till I give her a little throttle. It's not yet consistent so I procrastinate on that. Also, I took the readings with the key off and on, but the car not running...if that matters.

yeah the grounds in the ecu harness. It cant hurt to check their resistance to ground.

I'm sure there are more but you three really took of your time to help me over the years. Out of nowhere I stumbled upon Vadims thread last week and here I am. I imagine it is/was the last item on the list, overlooked for so long!!!
IACV breather on the intake manifold under the throttle body I had plugged. It's suppose to go to the intake charge pipe just before the throttle plate. I fabbed a bung and hooked everything up and BOOM!!!!

With a victorious ending to this thread, and my 5 year battle, AND the wealth of info here in this thread, I suggest it be a sticky. Lol!!!!

Congrats man! So after 5 long years, the issue was that the cold idle valve was hooked up to the intake manifold, but the other end was blocked off?

I'm sorry I didn't suggest a different test a loooong time ago. I should have had you remove the valve completely and NOT replace it with anything and just run it wide open. =/

Ben don't beat yourself up! You helped me so much it's rediculous! I appreciate all the time you took to assist, greatly! Although never removing and blocking the IACV, I had actually messed with the AAC. I tried removing it running just a straight hose, I opened it up to rig the inner shutter open to mimic a warm motor, and I even replaced it altogether. It obviously came down to something stupid and completely overlooked, no worries. Although I was almost convinced I was the one person to have received a tweaked ECU from Calum and damn near replaced it with a nismotronics setup from my local dyno tuner. Glad I stayed on the case though and didn't drop $750 (included dyno tune)!!! I'd have been bummed!!!

Alls well and now look at the wealth of info in this thread! :-)
