well my method is also with a dremel, it works however its a tedius process, you might try to finda local shop that could hone the throttl body, if only to the butter fly then hone the backside to the inlet specs. thats always another possibility.

Ah gotcha, so is the VE TB bigger though if you don't want cruise?

VE tb is the same size as the DE.

Yeah I gave up after about an hour. Was taking way too long. I barely removed 1mm

I have the spare throttle plates, if I could use my high port TB and move over the cruise control components it would be done in a heartbeat .

lol yeah when i used to port out the honda throttle bodies, i have HOURS AND HOURS in them, however they always came out nice, but ALOT of work

Yup I don't know if it's worth the time to try again. I'll just buy a bored out one call it a day. I don't necicerily need it, but it was a nice acceleration bump on the DET. Now on the VE I feel like I must get it because of all of the work I've been doing into port matching and polishing.

u should always port match the throttle body to the plenum camber
