HELP: fuel pressure setting
I just completed my turbo install and was trying to get a little clarification on what to set my FP too. i know that 3bar = 44 and 4bar = 59 but i'm confuzed i've seen people say run at 36 so which is it Can any one clarifiy this for me. The setup: 370's, s13 t25, DE maf, FPR, 255 walbro, with basic board w/ 4bar program, and i have 2nd set of chips for Z32 maf also.

i know fuel pressure varies from with the vacuum line disconnected and it being connected.

If you are programmed for 4 bar in the ECU, set the fuel pressure to 4 bar. They need to match.

4 bar is 58.8 (~59) psi which you already know.

Adjusting the fuel pressure is an easy way to make the motor run richer/leaner without having to retune. It's far from the best way though, kind of like adjusting the dizzy to add more timing, but more dangerous.

Either way, best to stick to what your ECU is programmed to. If your running too rich/lean check for other problems first.

My k-value in realtime is currently at 28750, would that be 3 or 4 bar? I'm having a major problem with my cold idle, it doesn't exist! I'm now thinking it's a tuning issue. I know there is a mathematical equation here somewhere to determine k-value and based on that, that's how I set mine.

I think crimping/pinching it gives same results, although taking it off is the best method.
