anyone ever tapped the Apexi Pen TT nto a wideband?
i was curious about this, i have had the apexi Pen TT for a whil and was looking into the o2 feedback function and wondered does this apply to the narrowband sensor only, or can this also be used to tap for wideband o2 readings? ivesearched the web but havent really found any info that says weather or not this can be done and was wondering if anyone has done this or knows if you can do this?

also was curious as to weather or not using a wideband o2 signal will create a actual reading like my aem wideband does?

if you look at the top of the Turbo timer it says A/F o2 , what i was wondering is weather or not it can be tapped for the wideband and get readings like it can for the narrow band?

YouTube - nissan sunny Apexi turbo timer

it looks like this can be done, it doesnt say weather or not he is using the narrow or wideband o2 sensor, but it does look like the TT is pretty stable read. am going to have to try this. i hve the aem wideband but i have my wideband in a not so conspicuous spot and i found it hard to do some street tuning with my wideband not being in such a great spot however i have my turbo timer in the middle of my guauge cluster housing which is near perfect for being able to monitor air fuel while doing the street tuning

If my memory serves, it's been a while since I drove my car, but I do have this connected to my narrowband o2 a couple inches after the turbo (stock-ish location). However, I did switch to a 4-wire o2 sensor to replace the stock one and I have it grounded to the intake manifold too and the readings on the TT were very close to the wideband readings all the time.

do u know what wire on the tt is the o2 signal?

also would i have to tap the o2 signal directly from the o2 sensor from my wideband, or is there a wire on the aem wideband that can be tapped to get the readings? the aem has a blure and a white wire.

Gauge-Type UEGO Controller Installation
RED
Connect to a switched 10-18 volt power source utilizing a 10A fuse.
BLACK
Connect to a clean power ground.
*WHITE
Connects to any Stand Alone ECU unit that accepts a 0-5 volt input.
*BLUE
Connects to a RS-232 com port for hyper-terminal data logging.
*optional (see below)
Analog Output
If the AEM UEGO gauge is to be connected to an AEM EMS, the UEGO gauge’s WHITE Analog Output wire shall be connected to an EMS Lambda input. Locating a suitable Lambda input channel can be done using the Application Notes provided with the EMS.

White wire is the one that outputs the voltages.
