Or is it the same? HP gains? clearance issues? I recently bought a gti-R manifold and thinking I should switch to the Gti-R J pipe

Thoughts

they both suck equally.

cortrim that graph is all over the map with a huge spike at the top. you getting boost creep up there or is there something else going on? Seems to be way to choppy on the top end

I have some creep and the gate is too small for the setup(spiking). the final graph was not posted but it did not look like that one(much cleaner). I guess I should have went 50mm on the gate.

what you have on there now a 38? manifold design and placement of the wastegate will also cause the creep

40mm jgs gate. The length on the tube connecting the collector to the gate flange is the issue. my asp manifold is a/c compatible and the only one ever made. A larger gate and or a shorter distance between the gate and manifold would correct the issue. I will have a 50mm gate installed at some point.

I'd get the divorced J-pipe or not at all. I have the bellmouth TurboFX(actually, that exact one you have a picture of, that's the one he made for me) and for the price, I should have gotten the divorced pipe(same price). I compared the stock pipe vs the turbofX one and there's not much improvement. I don't think it's the design of the FX pipe, it's more the size of the pipe overall. Just MHO. Maybe a full 3" bellmouth would be worth it. I also didn't notice much difference in power. It does look good though(when you first put it on..otherwise can't see it heh).

The divorced one does look good, but I'd like it to come together again,
I don't want it to be a sceamer. I think if he made a J-pipe already fabricated to the down pipe it would be great

Btw how much did you end up paying for it?
