Air regulator plug on harness?
I was putzing around with my B13 and noticed that this:

Is not plugged in. Is there any place for it on a USDM B13 harness? I don't remember any DE having it.

They all have one. it's on the back side of the intake manifold...somewhat close to the coolant temp sensor.

BTW how is your idle without that plugged in? Just curious because I suspect mine is messed up and whether or not it's plugged in seems to have no bearing on my idle.

if thats not plugged in you should have major idle issues, mainly with cold start, i know becuase mine is clogged, dirty,or going out and i cant start my car without bliping the throttle so i can have it idle untill its warm, then it will idle on its own, otherwise it wont idle... normally if the air regulatori s dirty or bad that will happen...or unplugged i would imagine

Yeah that's what it started doing. It likes to stumble while getting warm.

Where is the plug on the harness? I looked for it for awihle yesterday and could not locate it. My harness is a bit... effed up

That plug is actually a part of the starter harness, look at the wires that go to your knock sensor, and oil pressure switch, it should be right there.

the plug looks alot like the knock sensor plug except the groove for it is in a different location but its still possible to plug them in wrong

Yeah IIRC it's one of those annoying plugs with the little metal clip that holds it in place.

Thanks guys. We actually found it last night. During a failed attempt to install a new crank pulley we located the plug. Since I de-shrouded and re-ran my dummy oil pressure sensor for the CS oil distro block it got hidden in the power steering bracket. Its wedged in there pretty good. Its on the list of fixes that may happen during this seasons upgrades.

UK cams are definitely bigger that regular highport. Probably S3 spec. This mug lopes at idle even when its warm. Apparently it did this NA as well and ran like a monster. It may be that I have one of those freakly strong SR's in my car.

Check the base circle minus total lift, and report your measurements back!
