First Post: Need Help
Let me introduce myself. This is my first post on this forum and I'm pleased to be part of the Nissan family. I have a '92 Sentra SE-R that has a SR20DET swap in it.

Now down to the nitty gritty. I traded my '96 BMW 328i for my brothers Sentra. The car has a SR20DET swap w/ a T28 turbo. It has a Greddy Type S BOV, short throw shifter, light weight flywheel, upgraded cams, and a Greddy Blue Emanage. It has the DET computer in the car. I've searched high and low on Google for an answer and couldn't find a solution for my problem. When I got the car, I knew it needed a tune. The car was running decent. It would start fine and take a few minutes to warm up to idle fine. Well, yesterday I started to do some tiddy work under the motor. i tied up some loose wires and soldered some crimped connections. I even replaced some vacuum lines that were dry rotting. After finishing that up, I started the car to see how everything was working. It seemed to idle very smoothly. Next I worked on the passenger door lock, wired up the tach, and fixed the driver side door pin. After getting that done, I started the car up to check the tach reading. It was working.

Now to the pain in my rear. I installed the Emanage software onto my laptop to check the settings on the unit. It was a pain to find a compatible support tool for the 1.39 firmware on the Emanage. I finally found one and got the laptop to connect to the Emanage unit. Started the car and checked the real time data display. I didn't even import or export data from the unit. After shutting it down, I went inside to call my brother to let him know that I got the Emanage to connect the laptop since he couldn't do it with his laptop. He pulls up a few minutes later. I was telling him that the car actually idled smoother than before. So I go to start up the car to show him and this is when the pain in my rear gives me a headache. The car turn over, runs for 5-10 second, then stalls. I try it again and runs for a even shorter than before then it stalls again. I try to give it a few gas while starting yet it still stalls. I checked the spark plugs and they are dry. The fuel pressure sits at 41 psi when the car is off and 36-38 psi when the car is running. I checked all the connections (wire and hose) under hood and everything is fine. I'm stomped to what happened in a few minutes I had the Emanage connected to the laptop. I tried to start it today and it does the same thing.

Please help. Sorry for the lengthy post.

Thanks in advance,

Bryant
