basicly its more of a prefrence than anything else, most people run this or that bov becuase their intercooler piping might be specifically setup for say the hks or the greddy style, so they use those kinds.

however basicly if you are running 24psi of boost with the dsm and not leaking, then there isnt a reason to upgrade. however if you are leaking then it would be time to upgrade your bov to prevent anymore leaking

Scc did a article about bov's and even tested a a few stock units. They tested a crushed and uncrushed unit. Crushing the unit did allow it to hold more pressure but did affect the performance. I believe the response time was changed by crushing. I have the article some where along with a stock 1 dsm bov.

Ya, Coleman liked the BOVs that leaked a bit because they responded the fastest. Even though they bled boost... and that hurts efficiency.

i have a greddy type s style bov that im not using, you can have it just pay for shipping its up to you just a thought. it has the 2 springs on the inside and the alen screw to adjust the pressure.
