ok so i attached the recirc but sometimes in between shifts it will still die. usually when coming to a stop and it will jump idle from like 200 to 1000 rpms but sometimes die.

no wideband still right? if not definitly investing in one would be really benificial, as with the widebands this can help you determine things that are going wrong with the car, such as lean issues, or rich issues, and it will put you on the right path as far as hunting down your problems.

as far as the dying out, and hunting idle you can try to clean the maf and reground it and see if that doesnt fix some things. maf's are really finicky and when they get dirty or the grounds are 100% you can get a bunch of problems.

it did hunt idle though before i turboed it. I just switched the ecu (u12), injectors, water temp, and o2 and it did the same thing before it was ever turboed.

So I cleaned the Maf ad that seemed to help. I pulled my plugs out and they were pretty black. I'm going to get new ones...what kind should they be? And what's the gap? I want to reground the maf but there's 2 orange wire and idk what is what

I noticed it was running super rich like puffing black smoke. I'm going to get some injector o rings to see if that's the problem. But what else would cause that?

So I just realized that I am f**cking retarded and I thought this whole time that I was running a u12 ecu when in fact it is a u13 ecu. Wow I feel like a dumbass. Looks like im going to need a new maf. Turns out when you guys said I was having maf problems you were right.

well its good that you are progressing in finding the problems. if you can get the ngk bkr7E and gap then to around .028'' otherwise the bkr6e work just as well
