4" will fit

albeit on an N15/B14 chassis

Unfortunately, I ran out of gas just as I was starting to actually weld the system, so it will need to wait a few more weeks...doh!

Anyways, I'm buggered and my eyes are killing me, just glad that the hard bit is done!

Cheers

I'm sure I will be making more power as well since I am running such a small turbo. You have had great luck with your setup, and I'm not so much convinced that it is an all-out power contributed failure. I feel the weight of the car has a big influence on the longevity of the transmission.

Also, I've tried sprung clutches, and lighter pp, yet they still blow 4th up.

The GT35 will at least get me in the same league as far as turbo sizing goes, where then we can start comparing numbers. Until then, the GT30r is a much smaller turbo than what you guys are using, hence the lower power numbers and higher torque numbers.

You should do an altitude comparison between where you live and the majority of Florida.

Also to what someone said earlier about shifting right or whatever, the fact that you're stripping gears on ROLLING pulls says soooo much more about how weak the trannies are and not much at all about shift technique or clutch types.

4 inch is the way to go if you plan on making near 800rwhp!!

I agree 100%. I always had great response down low but that has cost me about 13 trannies including two B15's. That will all change this year though.
