Big Numbers On SR22VE 20V
This is my best friends 20V motor that I got for him about 4 years ago and we put it together over the past 2.5 years and we got it dynoed today.
Cam settings for 20V cams were
Intake = 0
Exhaust = +5
Dyno charts and pics of the car will be up by Sunday. All runs made up to 8500 RPMs
10 PSI = 445.67 WHP @ 332.19 Lb Ft Torque
15 PSI = 509.30 WHP @ 376.46 LB FT Torque
19 PSI = 543.82 WHP @ 398.46 LB Ft Torque
We stopped at 19 PSI because when we went to 23 PSI the clutch slipped. We figure we would have gotten 620 WHP at 25 PSI. New clutch will be going in soon and we will be back for more fun with some changes.
List of everything done
SR20VE 20V motor ( 2.185L )
90mm CP pistons
Mazworx sleeved block
Mazworx head gasket
Eagle rods
ACL Bearings
Ported 20V intake manifold and N1 TB ( By Andreas Miko )
Ported 20V head with Supertech Springs ( By Andreas Miko )
20V cams
GT37R turbo
Custom turbo manifold
Tial 44 mm wastegate
Alternator on back of motor ( By Andreas Miko )
MSD Digital 6
MSD Blue Coil
Red Ultra Wire
For The Non Belivers JWT In That @ss
JWT ECU
MSD 96 LB Injectors
Ford Lightning MAF
JWT Pop Filter
4in plastic intake
3in turbo back exhaust with Apexi Dunk
17x7.5 rims with 215/40/17 tires
Had to bring base fuel presure to 38 PSI because the car ran to rich at 44 PSI, aside from that, the car ran flawless. The ECU will be sent back for some fine tuning because the car has a fuel mixture of 6.5 - 8.5 RPMS of 11 to 1. We could not lean it out using fuel presure anymore becuase the fuel mixture is at 12 to 1 between 5,000 and 6,000 RPMs.
Changes that will be made but not to soon
Bigger turbo ( 6765 ) ( 25 WHP more at 20 PSI )
Have Clark Steppler make changes to ECU ( 20 WHP more at 20 PSI )
larger air filter ( 5 WHP more at 20 PSI )
3.5 inch exhaust ( 10 WHP more at 20 PSI )
I figure with changes above 600 WHP at 20 PSI is very possible.
