the series 2 is supposed to improve over some faults that other aem tuners have complained about on the series one such as start up issues, the series 2 is supposed to have better triggers for faster start up. little things here and there that make the series 2 superior over series one, but i personally wouldnt upgrade my series 1 for the series 2
