Thread: Dual In Tank billet Pump!

Don't get to excited, I currently have a custom dual walbro intank set-up. I am curious though as to how many guys would be interested In having a dual billet in tank set-up?

I did some expanding, and have a 4-axis Fadal vertical CNC that we have been kicking out quite a few nice pieces with. Im just curious if the FWD sr guys would be interested in this option.....

I know there are quite a few high HP guys out there, but we really do not have a super viable option as far as delivering a lot of fuel.

Let me know your thoughts. I know there are alot of fuel pump threads out there, but none offering this. Please Respond and let me know what kind of interest there would be!

Would it be able to be fitted into the car with out dropping the tank....and how complete would it be ?? fittings and all ??

What power is the walbro fuel pump good for, in single vs. dual form? Pics would be nice showing your work...and an idea of what we would be getting..

Would this be beneficial to us turbo guys that just want the security of having another pump in case one fails or is that not a huge concern? Is there a ball park figure you were thinking?

X's 3 for me. I am going to be running two pumps one in tank and a one in line. So another option is great. Very interested to see what you have in mind.

Yes this would be able to be put in the tank without dropping the tank. Well it depends on what you mean by fittings....

But it will come with the necessary fittings to make it work if thats what your asking



Im working on getting some pics. I have my dual pump set-up in my car currently. I have a stock one that we would design from that.

A single Walbro on E85 with a bigger power wire should be able to push 450-475whp. A Dual pump on E85 should be able to push 900whp. With E85 you need the proper size lines to do this.

Dual Walbros on Race gas 1000whp......more than we need.



Yes it would give you some piece of mind. It also depends on how you wire the pumps into your system, and what kind of tuning your using. My twin pumps run together. Some guys have the second pump come on only under boost, ect.....

Ball park would be under $450......Now before you get all excited about that. This is normal pricing for any Dual pump hanger on the market. They range anywhere from $390-$500. Supra triple pumps are around $800 I believe.

Like I said Im curious to see the interest. We have one we are designing for the Genesis Coupe 2.0T.

Have you seen the new Deatschwerks pump? Its the same size as the walmart 255's.
