they will work. Many do not use them since they don't bottom out in the block like the should.

Cotrim will using these bolts possible cause them to stretch and have sealing issues due to them not bottoming out ? I'm not going crazy psi levels but no more then 18psi .

Some have that issue or they end up having to re-torq the head studs. I would rather use new oem head studs than arp. Pulling the threads out of a block sucks and having to re-torq the head studs sucks as well. Its even worse on a ve motor due to the amount of work to get down to the head studs.

true on that ! I was worried about stretching the bolts and lifting the head . Prob keep it safe and use standard ve bolts

Are the golden eagle studs long enough? Do they bottom out in the block?

Yea i just dont trust em knowing they dont bottom out so I'll stay safe and grab a set of ve's or golden eagles for peice of mind . If there is one thing I dont want to do is rip the motor back out . Look for the new set of arp2k's for sale in the next day or so

I used the ARP2k studs and they seemed to work ok. I didn't like them because the torque spec is 105ftlbs which is way too much in aluminum imho. I thought they were going to strip out really bad.

The golden eagle studs are pretty nice, but they are barely long enough. My nuts barely tighten down to be flush with the end of the stud.
