What are your thoughts on how much the 520s can handle at 3 and 4 bar Dre? I can't say no to the fact they are under $200 shipped for a set of them on rockauto.com.

on a 3071R and 520 at 4 bar, I max the injectors out at 18psi. i doubt it's making more than 375hp there.

edit: DET with S4 on a log manigold.

I know Miko Kojima doesn't like the GT2871R at all because of the mismatched wheels and the inefficiency it brings, however in a practical sense I still think it's a great choice.

I heard this same rumor on the 3076R.

I have driven a decently modded 2871r car and I was very impressed.

Yes I believe the wheels are mismatched on that turbo as well. The GT2860 and the GT3071 have the "properly sized" compressor wheels. The larger compressor wheels of the GT2871 and the GT3076 cause an excessive amount of exhaust and/or intake charge to "slip" by the wheels (through the gaps between the wheel and the housing) in a good portion of the operating range because of the flow differences between the wheels. Not the most ideal setup, but it works.

Is there a GT3076 without a 60mm turbine?

My vote is 30r, and no, Ben. Only 60mm 84 trim turbine wheels are available for the GT/GTX garret 30r's

Then Keo, I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you elaborate?

the GT3076R Will is looking at is mine, it's a precision unit with a 60mm turbine wheel. and YES, you can get them from Garret, check ATP.
