Thread: Which setup should I use?

Far left, with no other information but the manifold "looks" to be longer.

Manifold in #1 looks beast!

I like the way that tubular manifold looks!! I would go with that one

If you can tell us what turbos they are that would help out alot.


1. I am 100% turbo setup number 1 will not work with AC and that turbo looks like GT28RS or GT2871

2. I know turbo setp 2 is GTIR manifold and turbo

3. looks like Bluebird-Aveneir manifold with some unknown upgraded turbo.

That being said I would go with #2 GTIR setup

What's it going on. And what's your goals?

I hope I do not get flamed for this but I had a Tomei header and the standard log turbo exhaust manifold from my sr20det. The log made about as much power as the tomei and when you have the iron sr20 manifold honed and coated it keeps under hood temps lower than the long lube ones. I also believe the log manifold is better for spool response and mid range since the gases do not travel as far.

Keo, if you are going with no AC as stated then #1 is the way to go.

What are your power goals?
