G20s, NXs, and Se-rs with the same modified SR20 is fast as well. al beit I do not know if they are as fast as the RWD cars but fast none the less. Good luck with the 400whp goal.

Thanks to everyone who replied and it was actually helpful. From my view point it seems like once you pass 375-400whp you start to enter a new world where things start to becoming easy to fuck up, kinda like the point of no return, and the stock parts start to need to be replaced. What I am looking for is a quick DD at a single boost level on pump gas with a quick spooling turbo. I am starting to think a GT2860RS setup would be better suited for what I am looking for and lowering my power goals to 350whp. Do you guys believe I should be able to reach this goal on 93 pump at 15psi with S4 cams?

Use the GT2871R, with .86 ar turbine housing.

It will make the 350-370 WHP mark with JWT S4 cams at 15PSI with no problems . If you change your mind for more WHP then you will have it. It is always best to not run the turbo right at its power level peak as you tend to run high intake and exhaust temps.

350-360 WHP is pushing the GT28RS to its limit and they usally see that WHP at 16-17 PSI. It can make alot more with external wastegate but keeping things simple with internal wastegate is the way to go for what you want.

GT2871R for the win

probably but when you're into boost you're going to want more once u max out ur set up hence why alot of poeple were saying to just fork out a litle more and go with the 2871 and have room for improvement....
