Correct. Dre laid this all out in a thread a while back.

alot of people do not know the difference in the T25 or T28 parts and sell alot of T25 as T28's.

When I changed my T25 for my GTi-R T28 and GTI-R manifold I used the same downpipe and it hunged lower than with the T25, this because the gti-r manifold is a bit larger...
So based on my experience I will say that it will bolt allright but will hung lower...

true, the gtir manifold sits that much lower than the rest.

so why is everyone in this thread trying to say they are the same? They clearly are not at all the same.

they are lower, but not 2-3" my mistake. it's like 2-3mm. i'll try to confirm it this weekend.

but i do know for 100% that you can run a T25 jpipe and downpipe on a GTIR manifold.
