I'm pretty sure they are NOT the same. It depends on the j-pipe and the exhaust manifold

alot of people do not know the difference in the T25 or T28 parts and sell alot of T25 as T28's.

When I changed my T25 for my GTi-R T28 and GTI-R manifold I used the same downpipe and it hunged lower than with the T25, this because the gti-r manifold is a bit larger...
So based on my experience I will say that it will bolt allright but will hung lower...

true, the gtir manifold sits that much lower than the rest.

they are lower, but not 2-3" my mistake. it's like 2-3mm. i'll try to confirm it this weekend.

but i do know for 100% that you can run a T25 jpipe and downpipe on a GTIR manifold.
