Thread: turbo timer with alarm?

hi all. just wondering if anyone has installed an alarm in conjunction with a turbo timer and actually got them to work? because I have an alarm and a turbo timer but the alarm needs to see a door open and close for it to auto-arm itself. so I would leave the turbo timer running (meanwhile the alarm is disarmed) and when the turbo timer shuts off, since there is no door opening or closing, I would have to manualy arm it. can anyone shed some light please?

Most alarms nowadays have auto-arm. What's the make/model of the alarm?

You should be able to access the configuration menu for the alarm in order to activate an auto-arm feature.

Hell, quite a few of them even have turbo-timer functions built in.

Lastly, if you're running a watercooled turbo, you really don't need a turbo-timer. Food for thought.

well I have a clifford g5 intelliguard 750. the auto arm wont work because the alarm has to see a door open and close after the engine shuts off to auto arm itself. but I'll look into the turbo timer functions I didnt know that was even available. thanks cliff!
