Thread: just put a t3 turbo in with a top mount

the scoop adds like 20hp so you should be good to go....

i have a STi hood scoop for sale too fyi =)

get a slightly bigger intercooler, run blow trough and get a hood scoop. other than that, it looks good.

how much you looking for shipped? and you have a pic of it to? why is at idle bad and in traffic?

Want to explain that a bit better

heat soak is what I mentioned in my first post: When the car is idling (and in traffic) and there is NOT air flowing through it because of no forward motion, heat from the engine and rises up and heats the intercooler up. So the intercooler does not work as efficiently as it would if it were a front mount set up.

EVEN WITH A HOOD SCOOP, you'll run into problems with a top mount. Why do you think most high-powered STi's 9or any car with a stock top mount) converts to a front mount set up?
