idle problem
hey guys this is my first time posting... ive been having a little idle problem and its starting to get the best of me...

the car:
1991 nissan sentra ser
de motor
det pistons
bc stage2 cams
aeromotive 13301 fpr
Walbro 255 fuel pump
370cc injectors
stock maf
stock t25(rebuilt)
gtir manifold
2.5" exhaust
jwt computer
unorthodox underdrive pulleys
power steering delete

the problem:
the idle is too high sometimes up to 2200rpm! i cannot get the idle under 1200rpm my IAVC screw is all the way in

what have i done:
power balance test ok
i have no egr(jdm mani?)
fuel pressure 43.5 with vac disconnected
tps .5v
timming 15 degrees BTDC
cleaned IACV

One thing u didn't mention was the air regulator valve at the back of the engine. Remove it and test it. Then clean and possibly replace if necessary.

Also check your base idle, but you probably did that when u checked the timing. Check and adjust tps as well.

I had the same issue except the idle jumps back and forth from 1100-1800. Changing the regulator fixed it. But now my problem is back. So I'm stumped for now.

OMG thank you buddy i spaced the acc valve out went outside took it out and tested it and it was fine but it never closed shut so i found this online
Cold Idle Fix
and i adjusted it so at room temperature it was fully closed and it helped out alot i still got some surging but ill deal with it tomorrow its 20 degrees outside
