What should I do about selling my car?
Here's the deal. I'm thinking about selling my DD to buy something nicer. For what I pay on my personal loan that I have out to get the car I could drive a M45 . It's a 99' Turbo G20T with 156k on the body and around 60k on the motor, alot of people know the car since it's been around the forum. I really don't want to sell it but I just picked up a fresh b13 and it's becoming my monster, so I don't need to 2 300+hp cars. Here's the car in it's best days

My question is I don't know how to go about selling it as the car has some problems. It has an oil leak from a oil line which drips onto the DP and causes the car to smoke, it needs a custom front motor mount made for it(long story),a rear shock,4 tires, break pads, down pipe is dented,it has some little body flaws and needs a few misc. parts. I'm going to do a comp test on the motor but I think it should be pretty good. The car has alot of great parts on it and still pulls real hard. It looks good from far but does have some scratches, rock chips,etc...and the interior is 9.5 of 10.

I only want about $7k for the car and I have a few options.
Sell the car by my house the way it is to some kid and deal with the on going questions and calls about it

Sell the car on the forum the way it is for the low price and let someone who will apreciate it fix it up

Put alot of time(which I don't have) and money into the car and try to get top $$ for it.

Spend time I don't have on it,take it back to n/a,part some of it out and sell it for a little less

What do you guys think I should do??

Even if you fix those issues you won't get top $$$ for it. I think the best way to get rid of it is to sell it for a reasonable fair price to someone who knows what they are getting into.

Sell it to someone that is not going to give you sh*t about the problems it has. It's ok to sell it to a local buyer but make sure you point in out to every single issue and make him sign something that he is aware of the problems of the vehicle.

I could also say part it out but you made it clear that you don't have time for that.

best way to get whatyou want out of it is part out all the aftermarket parts. but if you dont have the time to do it, is just put the car out there and see what it gets, list the problems and see where you go from there
