That clear shower hose used for the valve cover vent. Where does that connect? Between the MAF and the turbo, or after the turbo?

it connects to after after the maf, before the compressor side of turbo

Damn... Sounds like excessive blow-by then. =(

Unless something is majorly clogged cortrim said, or the PCV check valve completely failed.

i think just going to lower the boost and drive the car.. i am fed up. it didnt leak when i was running 10 or lower but a rebuild it kinda expencive. and i could just buy another w10 for 750 and swap everything over and never take to another shop again

Rob It your stuff needs a rebuild is cheaper to buy the stuff and have the rebuilt done. I am sue the worst that could have happened is burnt ring or blown ring lands. thats if the shop ran your stuff lean on the dyno.

ya for sure, i am thinking just to buy a nother det and swap everythign over. i found one cheap in my area where i bought the first det from. i just dont wanna spend this much because i will have to part out. i am looking for someone who wants everything but a short block. if goes through i will prob just buy a w10 block and swap over

thanks for the help everyone

cheers

rob if you buy a used det thats what you get. I would pull apart the top end and check the bottom end before using any unknown motor. thats as much work as taking what you have and replacing the broken parts. at least my way you know everthing is good. Btw I got some gtir rods if you need them.
