That applies to a certain PSI's, afterwards your turbo goes outside of the efficiency range and you start making less, but running the chance of killing the turbo.
I made 230whp at 9psi on a Ball Bearing turbo, but I had a bunch of other little mods

Your turbo is outside of the efficiency range by the time you hit the higher RPM's. You could be getting well over 280whp with a better flowing setup.
