Thread: 91-92 Cams in Avenir?

Cant find any info, When I buy my Avenir I will be junking my hosed DE. Would those cams make any additional power in my Avenir motor?

I cant find anything on here about anyone doing the swap so im going to assume there's no additional power to be had.

Any info would be appreciated.

Vadim discovered the W11 had lowport cams, so it would make a difference. IDK maybe 10-15whp w/a turbo setup? Worth doing if you got the time I guess.

Vadim rediscovered the W11 came with low port cams.

Just like the USDM cars the motors got smaller cams as they got newer. So U12 cams are larger than U13-W10 which are larger than W11.

91-93 largest
94 little smaller
95-97 smaller
98-99 smallest

Good to know, So before I toss my hydro-locked 92 DE I should pull the cams for the DET I order from you in the future
Can you get W11's or just W10s? Probably is gonna be in March realistically.

I remember when I swapped in a 91 Intake cam in my old 98 SE that thing came alive noticeably more.
