Your essentially adding an air leak to the system. Sure the car will run, but your ECU will always think you have more air then you really do. Thus flooding the engine when you shift or when your driving in vacuum.

I am completely against this, because I don't agree intentionally making your motor to run like crap. Just do blow through .

Ya, you may be just fine doing it. Worth a try. All my subaru friends do it, and though they admit it seems to slow spool on the shift, it still seems to run ok.

I am definitely going to recirculate the BOV, lol. I knew that it would stall if I vented into the atmosphere. The original question just said BOV with pull through maf, so I thought there may be some other underlying issue. I have just ran out of money for the time being. I am going to buy the attachment for the ssqv that has a nipple on it.

Thanks for all the positive input, the local gurus have been great with ansering my question and helping me. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done, it literally kicked my ass. Ive been on this day and night for awhile now.

Mark the fuel rail worked beautifully, thanks for hooking it up with a good price and quick shipping.

I only have a few things left now. I need to finish hooking the gauges up inside the cabin of the car (I cant decide where to put them), do the timing, and move my fuel pressure gauge (hooked it up on the return line *headslap*), fill it with oil and decide where to put the catch can (ill need info on what lines to use and vent to).
