Thread: Whats the most hp anyones made with just JWT?

i remember back in the day, people were pushing 400-450whp all the time on just a jwt ecu on a 72lb or 96lb program, that was the regular.

I was making roughly 550whp on a Calum basic, although i did do some fine tuning on it as it was a bit rich but either way still stock ignition and so on. Just a simple chipped ecu which is what the jwt is, they just use different maps.

512 whp with a AFC to fine tune.

Ive always heard 500hp is about all the JWT ecu is good for but Ive never used JWT I never really like the idea of a mail in tune

what tunes on it and whats it fit??

I get about 11.0 A/F on my JWT ECU at full throttle. So I'm pretty happy w/it. Could use a little more lean, but 11.0 is safe. At least it's not in the 10's.

Its not jwt's tune that limits what power you can make, its the factory ignition that tends to be the limit. The calum could have kept making more and more power with changes to the maf and injectors but factory ignition wont support much more than 550whp
