I have the 10amp fuse spliced into the wideband wire.

Where exactly is this ignition wire? Will I see it when I pull the lower steering column panel? Anyone remember what color it is or where to look for it? I looked in the FSM electrical diagrams and am confused as to which wire it is. Is there only 1 wire there? (plus ground) Is it the wire coming right off the key ignition? Any tips on accessing it?

My plan is to wire it into ignition(If I can find cable) and then run the wideband sensor through my engine bay and down to the brake/fuel lines. Zip tie to fuel/brake lines all the way back to wideband bung and plug in there. That seems to be the only way I can think of doing this. If anyone has other ideas or concerns LMK! I'm going to try and do this tomorrow.

I went and checked. I have a b13 NX so colors might be different but here goes. Looking at the back of the ignition switch is wires soldered in a 5 point star pattern.

Top of star 12 oclock position going counter clock wise.
Blue wire: #2 accessory
White/red stripe: 12v feed constant.
Black/yellow : Ground
Black/white: #3 accesory turns on fuel pump and other things.
Black/Green: Starter

So I want the White/red stripe?

This only comes on when the car's on right? I'll check w/my multimeter.

no the white with red is constant and would never turn off. You want the accesory #3 wire.

Got power to the gauge! wire colors were the same as your b13. I double checked w/a multimeter.

Just in case that fuse on the b/w wire blows, where is it? Is it one of the fuses in the car or is it a fuse in the engine bay? I want to make sure I have a spare.

Now I just need to run this back to the bung. Cars were parked too close in my apartment complex I couldn't get the car raised today and it's supposed to rain tomorrow. So, idk, but hopefully I can finish this project this weekend.

honestly I don't know that question. I might can try to look in the service manual.

I think I found it. Maybe you can double check to make sure I'm looking at this right.

Pg 'EL-Power-02'

Diagram F107 and E17

Looks like they go to a 30amp fusable link 'ignition switch' which is in the engine bay.

Also, just a random fact I found. This wideband only pulls about 3 amps between the gauge and the O2 sensor(as per install manual).

Yep, it's a fusible link I know that for sure. I hand it to you though, doing all this work for a wideband, I just found a hot accessory wire running to the radio and spliced mine in.
