Well its alive, sort of lol. We got it started after 10 weeks or so. I will get a recirc port welded on to the intake Monday. I also need to get the flange rotated on my DP. Plus I have a breather catch can to install. Here are a few pictures.
Soooooo, I am having two issues.
First, the idle jumps between 800-4500, and doesnt stop, it just keeps fluctuating. Never had this problem on the old setup. However, numerous things were removed. All emissions equipment were removed. Do I need to keep the solenoid plugged in where the EGR was, or will that not effect anything? Oil pressure fluctuates between 60-80psi as well. If this was a vacuum leak, I assume it would want to do, not have jumpy idle.
Second, I am getting some smoke from the manifold. Its got a new gasket it on it (cheap, not OEM). Is the new gasket just heating up and smoking? I don't see any leaks of anything else.
