I've had 2 act clutches. One had the TOB adjustment issue, which finally resulted in an exploding TOB. Not good, it left pit marks all over my flywheel and inside the bell housing of the trans.

The 2nd clutch the springs all blew out. Weak. I haven't wasted my money since. They need to cage those springs in there better.

I have since gone with clutch specialties. They are not invincible, but they handled a lot more abuse than the ACT and were 1/2 the price.

The extreme pp is very stiff, and will prob require you to keep an extra clutch cable handy.

i had this happen to me 2 times within a few months of eachother

turned out

bad throw out bearing clips...
when the clips go bad doesnt matter how much your clutch can handle this will happen if its sprung.. if not it could be worse

i agree! I done whipped enough honda's,srt4,v8's,yes imma go there 240 KA-T's... without busting the tranny yet...IT was well worth it!
"all due to the element of surprise from a sleeper sentra" LOL!

I gave ACT a call and sent them a E-mail with pic of the clutch, they sent me all the info to get a replacement after they examine it,keeping my finger crossed..if not time to upgrade!!

thanks for chiming in guys!
