extremely weird problem.....
so my fuel pump went out on my gti-r, got one from a skyline gt-r and the car ran but had to keep playing with the gas to stay alive, anyways got a nismo fpr thinking it was the fuel pressure but it keeps doing the same. at a point i thought it was the MAF, swapped 3 different MAF's and still the same, now the really weird thing is that it runs like a champ without the intercooler attached (top mount) it idles fine and revs past 3k rpms, builds boost. so did the usual maf check and regrounding and same results. i'm really stoked on this one i dont know what else to do. i've put new cap and rotor, checked for vaccum leaks, spark plugs, maf

could it be the ecu? i got a spare one i can put in, the one there now its chipped
Any help would be awesome before i tow this car to the Nissan stealership here in Japan to get raped

You sure about the no vacuum leaks?
I hope you changed the fuel filter after swapping pumps too.

the car was running fine before installing the fuel pump? if so, then have you tried another fuel pump to make sure it wasn't the wiring or a faulty pump (especially if you got it used or from a junkers)??

Yeah I am confused too, was the car running ok before?

When you say you play with the throttle and keep the car running that sounds like a big ole fashioned boost leak. For big leaks have someone rev the car or just pull the throttle while under the hood. Then listen and feel for air leaks. You can dip your hand in a bucket of water or something to help feel for the leak.

Well took it to the dealer and they hooked the consult and found the o2 sensor bad. Somehow he bypassed the sensor and the car idled fine. Now the deal it's findind the damn sensor because there's no way I'll pay 39500 yen or 400+ dollars for a stupid sensor
