The gtir and vet manifolds put the turbo in the best spot to clear a big t28.

I had mine on a bluebird manifold, and had to do a little grinding. I don't really know if it's the best or not.

I got lucky enough to pick up one of the old incon/garrett 2871rs when I got mine it cleared the block with zero grinding on a gtir mani.

GTI-R manifold is a *must* for a 2871R turbo. No way I'd go through all we had to, to get this thing in there. Anyone thinking of doing this..get a gti-r manifod, it will make your life 1000x easier.

Nothing done. Stock everything minus cams. It's a W10 block. I have way more faith in the stock engine block than this b14 tranny @ 350whp
