2.4 vs 2.0..
The KA24de is a stronger block and would be cheaper in the long run...

Ehhh I'm pretty sure you need to build the KA up to hit 400whp daily, whereas the SR you could run stock internal. I agree the KA is a great motor and I like the torque they have.

rb20, rb25, 2jz's, ls1/2 have all been done many times

vh45 would be the bomb and keeps it all nissan, 1uzfe also a very good conversion.

sr20ve will give good weight distro, and power band

personally i would go 2j or ve

not true... Go to KA-T.org

There's a 400whp+ ka-t on a stock block.

I would never put a SR into a 240sx. The KA motor is a great motor and with some mild work they can run amazing!

I know there are KA's at over 400whp stock block, just doesn't seem like it's as safe as with the SR from everything I've read.

anything other than a SR or KA will require custom wiring custom drive shaft and custom mounts, in my eyes stick with the KA, i had a 92 that moved with just a Lightcrank pully and an intake

I would keep the KA my friend is running one and is making 438 at 17 psi on a 35r and the great thing about the KA is since it is a larger engine then the sr he can see boost faster with the same turbo his 35r starts screaming at 2800 rpms, although he had to build he block to be able to handle the power.
