Thank you boosting20t, blood i changed the pcv to a sti because the stock plastic VE pcv does not hold positive pressure (you can blow right through it). The sti valves are metal and hold pressure. I do have a catch can on the back drivers side firewall, right next to the brake booster. cruising and idle the pcv takes care of crank case pressure, and dont see any vapor coming out of catch can filter. I'm at 14 psi and the can never sees any oil. i imagine there alot of different variables concerning catch cans like ring gap, crank case ventilating, condition of engine, and type of engine. I know some people with SR's that run 20psi and have no blowby.
