Car hard to start, Ive searched for weeks.
I have been having problems with my b14 starting. It started out fine after the new build/setup. Drove it about 500 miles then it didn't want to start when hot.

The car would start fine cold, but it would flood out when hot. Now it has a difficult time starting all the time, usually requiring me to hold the throttle open when cranking to get it to fire.

I have replaced the Maf (brand new z32), ect sensor, injectors, iacv( used, but tested good), new plugs, new ground cables and cleaned all chassis grounds, good battery, good alternator, coil checks out good, wires are new.

The car has no boost leaks, and A/F ratios are spot on at Idle, cruising, and WOT.

I'm going to test the fpr regulator sometime this week.

Any ideas, something I overlooked?

Thanks in advance, Ken.

Is it getting hotter than normal? How long it is taking to start? Maybe it is loosing its prime(fuel) and not wanting to start.

It has never had any overheating issues. At first it will take 10 seconds or so, but after it's warm it won't start unless I unplug the injector harness and crank till it fires and dies. Then it will fire back up after reconnecting the injector harness.

I don't think it's loosing it's prime, because it floods out when starting. I will be installing a gauge and new fpr later this week, when it arrives.

Thanks for the quick response.

Yea sounds like you are flooding out and it wont start until it burns off all of the fuel.

I have pulled the rail and tested the injectors for leaks before reinstalling. I really am lost. Thanks for the help. I'll double check the o-rings.
