its easy when you have good pics to look at. The only thing that I could think of in the area you were talking about was the oil cooler.

The circuler part of the oil cooler is unscrew able. It has a bolt on top of it I think it's a 19,20,21 when you take it part of has one big orange o ring inside of it that flatins ones it gets really old. Greg v sells it. Also once you remove the oil filter housing from the block replace with new or rtv the old small o rings so you gurantee no leaks. Just a word of advice from experience.

does this part happen to turn up the oil psi? i noticed on this motor my oil psi is higher then the uk motor

i have a det block and ve head moved my oil cooler and put a ve oil housing on no problem but if you move it ill try to change the 2 oring seals. no it dont help for oil pressure. if you want more oil pressure get a ve oil pump

im just going to delete the cooler setup all together
