The oil pressure went up after I switched from mobil one, I love the rotella it may cost a little more but seems to do better in our turbo cars than most other oils.

I have had the same copper one on my pan on the nx for ever, so i would say copper. No leaks this far. LOL

mike4387- 35 psi at idle? Is your gauge broken? That seems high compared to any sr powered car i have been in or around. Is it a ve? or do you have a ve pump? De's dont seem to make much oil pressure at idle from my experiences.

permatex ultra grey. meets import spec and is compatible with all synthetics, not just group III. It's good for oil/coolant and 625*F continuous.

Ok gtir's have a larger pump than the de as well so your oil pressure will be a bit higher. I thought you were talking about a de.

ok just got back from walmart. didnt see anything heavier than 10w30 in synthetic in any brand. i was wanting to run 10w40 but they only offer that in non or syn-blend.

only thing i saw was m1 10w40 but lately ive been hearing bad things about mobile 1
