Yeah you definetly want to spin the slicks off the start. If for some reason you high launch and just stick then your axles are screwed.
Thats how i was pulling my best 60ft's, 8k rev limiter launch throttle to the floor when the yellows start to fall. Release the ebrake from preloading and dump at the same time. If you have your slick pressure set right and good track prep you can slightly spin but hook at the same time and your neck will snap back from the acceleration and be ready to hit 2nd quick. 1st goes by insanely fast when you get a great launch down in the low 1.7's on the 60ft.
If you hook too good you will probably snap your axle. You want a medium. Basicly get as much grip as you can without breaking an axle and still spin a bit right off the start.
