Exhaust leak
so i bottomed out last night and now have a whole in my flexpipe a little bit past the downpipe. Will this hurt my turbo or can i put off fixing it till next month? Im concernced because i have a boost leak and ever since the exhaust leak my car is holding 9psi like it was doing before the boost leak.

It will not hurt the turbo. Waiting a month can be fine. Both are important items. However, I would get to that boost leak first. It can cause you to run rich, jitter,.. and much much more. Keep in mind: I do not know how many miles you drive. GL with this.

That exhaust leak will wake the turbo up if anything. When I'm on a 2" exhaust my t25 only holds like 5-6psi. Open downpipe it holds 7 steady and pulls way harder.

well i really dont know how to take this, my car is back at 9psi, it see boost 500 rpm sooner, but sounds like ass around 3 grand and i have a hole in my exhaust lol. If its not gonna hurt i think im gonna wait to fix it. maybe get some type of cut outs to have this quick spool in the future

a exhaust leak isnt going to hurt anything as long as its not say at the manifold, or between the turbo and o2 housing.

and yes having a faster route for the exhaust to leave the turbo will yeild you faster spool, and more power, i have a 3'' downpipe always have love the power but it is loud, but i can deal

if you lik that i suggest geting a cut out maybe or just go with a full open downpipe all together

yeah I recomend cutout as well, they work great on turbo cars... Im running a 3" downpipe with a 3" cutout and its lould as hell but worth it, I like it...
With the cutout closed the car wont spool past 7.5psi, and its slow as hell but after the cut out I have small ass mufler, with 2" cat and a 1 3/4" silencer
