Glad you searched, but you could have found MANY other threads out there regarding simple turbo setups for quick power.

Do you even know what your goals are?

I have run this turbo before around 1997

This turbo is also known as the GT2840R and first came into the market and was sold by HKS. This turbo is a very bad match of comp and turbine wheels. When the Comp wheel starts to get into its peak effiency range the turbine wheel is going quickly out of its effiency range.
.

so what ur telling me gt2876r with t2flang and 14psi wastegate, this turbo will be put on
sr20ve-t (det bottom end and ve head)
72lb injectors
asp shorty turbo maifold
3inch exhaust
2.5inch intercooler

the reason i am using this was cuz it was given to me by a friend. and if this set up the turbo will be garbage, i should start looking for another one.

I love reading back on these threads to wonder how some of you manage to makes such serious numbers, on such small turbochargers, with fairly low boost levels.

I have a seriously high spec. and on a GT30 hybrid (GT40 comp' wheel instead of usual GT35) on 22 psi on 99 octane, I manage to only make 403 WHP (albeit in a 5th gear pull).

Yet I can pull 130 mph trap speeds!

Is my dyno' wrong or is it something else?

Dynos can vary and operators using the dyno can change numbers. I guess you did a 5th gear pull for traction reasons and this did make your numbers lower. you need use 4th to get accurate numbers. I know several people who have hit 450-490whp on the small gt30 turbo.
